My Path to Psychotherapy

My first degree was in Economics. While I enjoyed the analytical side of the profession, I gradually realized that I was far more interested in people than in numbers. This realization inspired me to change the direction of my career and pursue psychotherapy.

I started my journey from the very beginning by enrolling in the Bachelor's programme in Psychotherapy Science at Sigmund Freud Private University (SFU) Vienna. From the first year of study to meeting all academic, clinical, and professional training requirements, the journey took almost seven years.

Throughout this time, I completed extensive theoretical education, practical training, supervised clinical work, personal self-experience, and internships. Each stage strengthened not only my professional knowledge but also my understanding of how meaningful and transformative psychotherapy can be.

Today, I work with individuals and couples in English and Russian, offering both online and in-person sessions in Vienna. My goal is to provide a safe, respectful, and supportive space where clients can better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and create lasting change.

My Approach

I believe that every person already has the capacity for change. Sometimes those inner resources become hidden by anxiety, painful experiences, or difficult life circumstances.

My role is not to give advice or tell people how to live. Instead, I provide a safe, respectful, and supportive space where clients can better understand themselves, strengthen their relationships, and discover solutions that feel authentic to them.

Therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, curiosity, and compassion. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel genuinely heard and accepted.
